How TechTalk runs projects
TechTalk adopts a pragmatic approach to software development: our primary concern is delivering software that meets our customers’ needs. We understand that customers want to buy as little software as is needed to meet their targets.
Our developers also understand that the expectations of a projects may change. A good project team is equipped to deal with such changes, and our project managers are prepared to tackle such challenges.
Our approach is to develop an initial prototype at an early stage in order to collect feedback and check that the customer’s expectations are being met. This allows us to identify mistakes and possible improvements at an early stage – where they can still be rectified – making it easier to actively manage the risks associated with software development.
TechTalk has long-standing experience of the fields of enterprise IT, organisation and finance, and we leverage this experience to deliver projects that are fit-for-purpose and software that makes an impact.
How Project Managers at TechTalk Work
A good agile project manager combines the role of product owner and facilitator for the project team with the oversight of a traditional project manager. The product owner’s responsibilities include defining goals, steering the team and monitoring their progress, prioritising user requirements (structured as user stories) accordingly.
At TechTalk, all project managers combine traditional project management with the role of product owner, and are qualified in certified in both areas.
